custom built for Alexis Bercq. No, It's not the new AZL or old Rogue GP38(-2), it's based on a more than heavily modified GP35 with lots of custom parts. First GP38 out of my works, more to come...
What have I done? Try to remember:
    - shell up to behind dynamic brake GP35, rear end SD40-2
    - Dynamic brake blister shorten
    - Airfilterbox
    - Single stack removed, replaced by 2 stacks in front and behind dynamic brake fan
    - 3 fans at rear replaced by 2
    - dynamic brake and 2 fans at the rear etched parts
    - "chickenwire" louvers shorten
    - new stainless steel side sills and railings
    - chassis stretched
    - new tank/air tanks
    - chassis milled to accomodate short tank
    - detailed front pilot
    - (my) standard super detailing
    - decals and custom paint jab and weathering
    - and lots more I guess...

Looks fantastic! I lived in Kansas for 3 years and have fond memories of KCS. Nice work.

Still a so impressive work, Gerd... Just one question: where your fan grids come from? Myself when "clothing" my FCCM (ex-UP) GP35 I used fan grids coming from a Micronart kit aimed at Rogue GP38s but I'm far from obtaining an accurate result such as yours...

    Hi Dom,

is all my own design, the louvers at the rear are the only standard ones coming from the SD40-2, but where shorten.

OK Gerd... On another hand did you shorten the aft coupler, in order to have a closer coupling? In an affirmative reply, how did you do this?

Dom, Gerd didnt shorten it. He just made his own pilot. The AZL pilot you used sticks out more.

    Dom,

the rear coupler is not shorten, just a result of the position of the trucks.
