Has anyone ever hardwired this decoder? I've tried two so far and nothing seems to be working. I can hear the decoder taking in commands but when I exit programming mode and apply power, no movement. I've tried resetting CV08 to 008 to reset. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance. -Anthony.
A DZ125IN is a 6 pin (NEM 651) type decoder. Any reason you are trying to hard wire this ? A DZ125 is the same size decoder with wires, might be a better decoder to use.
The pins on the decoder have the same color coding as the wires on the DZ125. I got them for really cheap on a whim. So why not?
