Nice photos everyone, with great looking locos, stock and terrain.

No trains in mine - a couple of close views of the river.

That's a super photo, Mike, but I don't think I'd be keen to drop a hook into that stream. It look industrial. Excellent, though. The lighting helps to make it stark.

Here's mine, a revisit of a photo I took in early 2009. Added some effects to improve realism.

    Great work this week!

Mike - that river/stream is fantastic. Has a 'Woburn' look to it. :tb-wink:

Here's the first photo I've taken of my layout this year:

    Nope, not dead

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I'm not dead, just been very busy. Rugby started up in December, and then my layout got under way but didn't have time to post much. Was at the WGH Atlanta show last weekend and bought some new cars and scenery supplies, including a box of SUPERTREES, which I've been chipping away at for the past week. I love love LOVE this stuff! Here's a few shots of the progress.
First, an overview of the right side. Still don't have the road planned out (lost both my scale ruler and woodland scenics grader.) Anyone know how many inches wide a 2 lane n scale road is? Anyways, trees in the back, hot rod/car customizing etc shop in front of those, there will be a bait shop in front of that, train to the far right.

Anyways, here we are looking down the cut. The hill the camera is resting on will have trees, as will most of the length of the main.

Finally, got a LOT more trees left to make and plant. Might make a tutorial.

A couple of test shots showing the placement of my produce warehouse, where it will eventually be planted. In these shots, you'll see that the loading platform is slightly too high (doesn't align with the floor of the reefer car). When permanently installed, the base that the structure sits on will be sunk into the foam surface, bringing the platform down to the proper height..

Just for fun, a photo using the "Vintage" effect on my new Android phone:

The Silver Valley RR did run a train today, from Salina to Silver Creek.
Bob Railbender had the chance to take pictures:

I know it "aint" pretty, but here's a shot of the approach to the coal mine area on my Albemarle Division Version3. I'm aching to get this thing done and running.

    Chipping away at it.

Its been a while since I posted any fresh shots so here are a few. Now please excuse the lack of weathering as I think my club mates are plain CHICKEN! Anything SP without weathering just is not right, except maybe the Dayight train. These were taken during an open house that ended today that we had in conjunction with the Sn3 symposium.

Next time the plan is to use my weathered units and stage them for still shots. These were all taken in motion and I am afraid my camera and/or skills could not keep up.
