Hi all, I hope someone can tell me what is necessary to modify the rolling stock became have sound like real rolling stock, i was watching on YouTube, but i can't get any information, is there any electronics board inside the rolling stock? Thanks
you're probably seeing people who have added real train sounds to their youtube videos. The actual model doesn't sound like that in person.
There are a couple of locomotive sound decoders that can reproduce the sound of the trains wheels hitting a rail joint. The ESU decoders do this and I think some of the Digitrax decoders do also.
Or is it just actual metal wheels on the model and actual track joints? In fact what sounds are you asking about? If can you post a link to the video we can have a look/listen and be more helpful .... maybe
