Last week we had a great turnout following the Prototype theme. Let's see if we can keep it up!

    Lets see that STEEL!
(Disregard actual material. We all know most of it is actually plastic, but its the representation of STEEL that counts! :D :D)

New photos are highly encouraged. ;) As always, Photoshop is allowed but the main subject must remain a physical model. One image per member.

"Times up" will be posted next Monday so don't wait until the last minute. After the times up I'll post the poll for everyone on TrainBoard to choose their favorite image.

That's a well-done car with the rust streaks and rusty wheels.

    I call my entry simply......Steel!

Nope, sorry. I opened the page and it immediately went to Crandell's pic whilst loading. Uh uh. I can't beat that. Not for originality, not for composition. I think I'll uh "need to smoke"* after seeing that pic

*That's a euthamism, not a literal. See if you can get what I mean. I don't really smoke, waste of perfectly good hobby money

OK, they have to beat SOMEONE! Wouldn't be a contest without third place.

One day left! With 18 voters, all three entries are still within 2 votes! This can still go any way! :D :D

    Congratulations to our winners!!

Crandell won the popular vote, but by only a single vote out of 23 total voters!
Therefore, I must include the two tied for second place as honorable mention!
As Ken said above, all three are excellent examples of steel!! :D

Thanks, fellas. With this caliber of competition, it was a squeaker. And rightly so.
