I am enjoying the show!! And my wife agrees that your supportive GF is probably a keeper!

Chessie is a fun RR to model for so many reasons and you seem to be pulling off the scenery in the area very well! From what I remember of my time in the east, there really ain't much flat land, so your changes in that way are dead on.

Keep up the RR'ing! It is such a great relaxer and challenger to the brainpan! Heck, every college ought to make it a strong suggestion for it's students!!!

    More Pics

I forget where I left off the other night, but here's some more pics of various bits and pieces. Pulled the 'proper' camera out and stole some extra lights from the bedroom and tried to take some semi decent shots.

Off to the right is where the new 'rapids' are/are going to be. I have no idea when the coupler box fell off the front of the B30-7. Putting it back on is on my to do list.

It is oddly hard to make out the changes in terrain in the river. I don't know why this is, but it just seems to pop so much more in real life. Don't know if that's because I'm always moving or what. Hopefully the next video update will give a better 3D feel for things.

Looking down on things from the hill top. This gives a pretty good idea of the decaying and aging I've been attempting on the mine tracks. I may have gone a touch OTT, but hey, all a learning experience.

This is the dirt road leading to the mine. Needs a bit of work with the weathering powders-having dull coated the scene it toned all the colors down far more than I was expecting. Grade crossings are blair line weathered with poster paint of all things.

    And lastly...

Video update. Quality sucks, apologies for that.
