It is finished on day 19

To think only 19 days ago I was looking at a pile of balsa sticks, scribed balsa wood, my box of assorted windows & doors & other items. I brought it all together to create this sanding house & pit, coal tipple & water tank. I loaded this structure with tons of details. It has 4 1.5 V. mini lights (C battery), hand rails & cat walks, ladders, 1950's coal truck & more. It also boastes 5 men at work. The pipes are made from round styrene stock melted to make each bend. It was a challenging but fun build. I am going to enter this in the "Struchturs" contest in the craftsman catagory on June 23rd at the Northern Colorado Model Railroad Club in Fort Collins CO. I wounder if it will be good enough to take 1st place? Fingers are crossed & I will keep you all posted.

Looks very good. Nothing models wood better than wood. Good luck on the contest.

I have a cornerstone kit coal tipple to build, but im not sure if it will look this good. I agree, wood is better.
