I think it's awesome someone is coming out with modern-day B-units, if I get the chance I may just pick up the ATSF one. I don't care for the red/silver ATSF scheme (unless it's on an F-unit passenger train!) so the SD60M really doesn't interest me, and I think the BNSF paint scheme is just too ugly to look at, so those are out, but I think the Santa Fe B-unit would look kinda cool in with a group of SD40-2s or something. Either way, kudos to FVM for at least trying some new things.
Had to order both (ATSF) and the B unit will be the first I ever bought. I will be broke if there are more releases this year. Cheers,
These aren't due untill the end of the year so my guess is future runs will be later next year. I really want at least a couple M's and B's in warbonnet. I wonder if future runs will include the revised ATSF warbonnet with the black anti glare on the top of the nose.
You mean some improvement would be welcome? I don't have any of the GEVOS, so can't comment on those. But I'd sure like to get the GP60s, despite the fact that I have a pair in HO.
guess they need more than 'some improvement' before i buy another fvm loco.... noisy , binding drives, one of my few didn't run at all.
Reserved two M's and two B's, hope if funds are good that I can order more if they dont sell out overnight like the Atlas Dash 8-40CW's. I pre-ordered the Trainworx flats and ALL UPS trailers, so my wallet may be hurting a bit, but not enough to miss out on my favorite locomotives of all time.
