    Howdy folks,

It's been a while but several of the posts in this thread invite me to comment.

As some of you are aware I recently purchased San Juan Decals this August. In the three short months I've been in operation I can assure you that upwards of 90% of my sales have been D&RGW. I have C&S and RGS offerings but their sales pale in comparison. This fact is what drives the Blackstones out there in their development decisions as the cost of developing an engine or boxcar is staggering.

That said, look forward to new offerings for the "less" popular lines in the near future. DSP&P, Oahu, early D&RG among others are in the initial planning stages. I may never recoup these development costs but I know that the D&RGW will keep me busy and afloat. I am more interested in having a more diverse product offering to fill the needs that are obviously out there.

I understand the C&S is in no way as popular as the D&RGW but there aren't many products out there to put C&S decals on besides brass. Grandt line no longer produces C&S rolling stock, micro trains already has decals on the models, and Labelle includes decals in there kits. Maybe if there were more options in products for lesser lines demand and profits would be higher for smaller roads decal. Just a hypothesis.
