Last week we had eight 7-13 year olds for the second session of Rail Camp at the museum. They built their TTRAK boxes and then sceniced them. After the final assembly on Friday we plugged them all together and ran trains.
Haven't posted here in a long time due to some major health problems. I'm better now and back working on the Yuba River Sub. Here's a shot of one of my Yellowstones crossing Bullard's Bar Bridge with a short (20-car) expidited freight. The loco is an old 1964 Akane that I bought at a swap meet about four years ago--it was in pieces. Took it home in a sack and re-built it. Runs like a Swiss watch (without the ticking). Tom
