Scott, if you are reading this thank you for the very nice article in the latest RMC. Thank you for the good step-by-step photos and the very excellent tutorial on how to do this or similar kinds of modifications. Everyone else, I recommend picking up the latest RMC that has Scott Lupia's SW8 Lehigh Valley "pups" on the cover and taking a look at his article. It's a great resource and bit of inspiration for my fellow kitbashers and detailers out there. Nice work!:thumbs_up::thumbs_up: Adam
The scenery in the photos used in his NSR articles is extremely well done. If these were taken on his layout, then I would like to see more of that, as well. TOm L.
Bill, I just picked that one up, too. I haven't opened it, yet, so I look forward to seeing that as well. Tom, agreed. This is a nice layout.
Scott does do fantastic work. I have made these Pups a few years ago, but Scott's are definitely a cut above mine. What amazes me is his attention to the smaller details. Keep up the great work, Scott. Joe
Hey guys, thanks a bunch for the compliments. I love projects like this. The scenery is all the work of Brian Stetz. He is one of the biggest LV nuts I know and only he could pull off such a signature LV scene. He works in module form since he isn't at the point where he can build a layout. I love working with his modules since they are so portable and I can really do nice things with the lighting. Look for more from him in the near future. There is an article in the next N-Scale Railroading that we did together on his kitbash of the LV's hammerhead RS3. I did all of the photography for that article and from what I am seeing so far, it is going to be a knockout article. Beyond that, we are working on something else that magazine. One day I will actually get back to working on my layout which has been sitting in a wonderfully climate controlled basement while I roast outside doing yardwork and other house type things. Thanks again guys. Scott Lupia
