I have a MRC Prodogy Advance system, I purcased a couple of years ago. A short while back I wanted to upgrade to the Prodogy Advance2, so I purchased a new controller. I tried to use them together for the first time the other night and found that the controller didn't do anything. Are they not able to be used together like that?
Each controller should have its own address. They are suppose to each work together when on a buss. Try theses guys for more help http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MRC-DCC/ MRC people are in the group. They do listen and answer questions.
I think I saw some were that you would need to send your advance unit back to the factory. And for a small charge they would upgrade it to the squared system. But I could be wrong. Try contacting MRC they could tell you.
