    Nice photos. I looked at them for quite some time thinking "GP-16s', boy probably replaced by "Technotoasters' and , "gosh, look at all them butchered GP-7s and 9s."

    Glad you got pictures. I remember being a little boy going to Tacoma with my Dad and his friend Denny to look at rows and rows of BN first generation EMD and ALCOs getting ready to be cut up. We even climbed inside a couple of the old F units and just walked through and looked at the engines and what not. I remember it like it was yesterday. Thinking back now, I wish I could have gotten a builders plate and/or maybe even a number board or 2 off one of the engines.
