I'm new to this forum so please bear with me.

Do you know where I can obtain HO scale locomotive and/or rolling stock with the "Durham Southern" livery? I worked on relocating the line between Durham and Bonsal as part of the Jordan Lake construction in the early '70. I'd appreciate any information on this short line.

    Thanx

Poxie - Back in 2007 Athearn produced IIRC, the GP-38-2 in 3 different road numbers including their Bicentennial unit. I'm not familiar with any producers of D&S rolling stock but as a some-time fan of theirs back in the 1960's all I can remember are their modern black 3-bay hoppers and their cabooses, which if memory serves, all had roof-mounted windmills to generate electricity.

At one time, the company Microscale used put out decals for the D&S.

You might also want to check out the web-site "Fallen Flags" for more info on the D&S.

    Poxie,
That must have been quite a project you worked on! The local TV station ran a story about a steam locomotive that derailed and is at the bottom of Jordan Lake....
