I've noticed, there is a growing interest about completely finished, ready to run small switchers. I'm listening, so the first part of the continuing saga coming very soon. Brass SW-00 switchers with directional lights, built over the smooth running, powerful, proven to be very reliable R4-11-8 chassis, painted yellow with gray roof, diagonal stripes at both ends, and so on... These little hard working locomotives are belong to the Kronenberger Lumber Co, and have unique road numbers, starting with 1, then continuing with 2, 3, 4... Get ready, countdown has began.
The countdown continues. The first six is near the finish line, the second six is nicely progressing, there will be no #13.
No room for decoder, according to Lajos. I have some of his SW-00 kits to build. I'm thinking of making a calf (no cab) to the SW-00 (cow) and put the decoder in the calf.

The countdown is over. The first six from the series of limited edition various brass locomotives are completed. The wonderful, smooth running models of the SW-00 "Kronenberger Lumber Co." diesel switcher are ready for service. Number 7 is already reserved, so five locomotives are available for immediate delivery at L.G.Thek Brasswork. The available road numbers are 1 through 5. Number 6 and 8 through 12 are in production, and will be completed within ten days.
I've noticed, the photo montage is gone from one of my previous posts. Thanks to Karin, the lost photo was recovered. :0) Here is the limited edition "Kronenberger Lumber Co." locomotive again.
Thank you. Now, think about the size of this little critter. If placed on a Quarter, it sticks out only 1/8" on each end.
Sheesh Lajos. First Rokuhan rips off your idea. Now Searails "PowerMAX" looks just like it too. Crap!
That's a good news. Z-scale needs selection, from entry level to high grade, from "just" runners to solid powerful performers. I wish there are just as many competing products in every field of Z-scale.
