hi everyone i am an 18 year old aussie that has just moved back to HO scale from N scale and im looking at building a small 4x6 or shelf layout that isnt too complex. so far i have a hornby mixed freight set with the select dcc control and a number of other european stock and australian stock. recently i purchased an austrains T class with DCC for $300 and i have finished a number of 4 wheel kits which turned out fairly well considering they were my first kits. i might post some photos soon of the kits i have completed.

i also have posted a few layout threads in the layout design discussion forums which some people probably find annoying but thats because i can never decide on a track plan which annoys me alot.

i hope to post more frequently on the site and make some good friends while im at it :)

looking good so far. I don't know much about Australian railway operations but I do like what I see here.

Wow! Spoked wheels?! Australian railroads and equipment have always fascinated me.

I even had this idea to set my 2 rail O scale layout in Australia. Like a what if scenario, sometime in the future somehow some reason an SP GP60 was sent over to Australia with hastily painted over road #/name and with some certain Australian features.
