EL caboose ?

I was looking at the Anthern bay window cabooses and saw they had Erie and EL. I have a PA1-GP35-GP35 combo in EL and was wondering which one would be a better fit.

Hi Kevin,
The E-L would be better, as by the time E-L purchased the GP 35s, I would assume that all of the cabooses had been painted to EL.
Although the model itself is just a stand in, the paint and lettering are accurate. A member of the ELHS submitted the artwork to Athearn.
Besides, the E-L looks better!

 

I picked up one of the new E-L cabeese today at my LHS. It's VERY nice and would look great on (and more appropriate) on your train.

The online hobby shop I ordered mine from just got them in yesterday and are already sold out of all three. I didn't realize that EL was that popular!

 

Good things are on the horizon for fans of prototypically correct EL/DL&W/Erie cabooses!
