    Russ, thanks for starting.

Below are pictures of the PC GP40 that I recently finished. This is one of 10 PC GP40's painted with the Orange C, supposedly as a reference to the PC taking over the New Haven. These were new GP40's delivered to the PC in 1969.

I replaced the plastic lift rings with metal ones, added a cab signal control box in front of the engineer which necessitated moving the nose grab irons to the fireman's side and plugging the pre-drilled holes on the engineers side. Also had to plug the holes for the sun shades as PC engine's did not have sun shades applied. Also installed a Sinclair Antenna on the cab roof. Lettering was supplied by two Microscale Sets.

You are GOOD! One Suggestion - the truck grill is much too clean, needs lots of bugs-n-crud. It has to be summer because Linda has short sleeves. Forget about Bob, he's so macho he'd wear just a tee shirt even in mid-winter.

I'll probably be down on the club layout, tomorrow. I'll see what fun I can scare up :glasses-cool:

Here's my contribution, a couple of shots of my 'never was' Rio Grande 2-8-8-4 #3903 pulling a westbound freight up Yuba Pass. The loco is an old 1964 Akane brass import that has just had its motor modified with rare earth magnets--it now crawls like a caterpillar and can pull anything you want to put behind it. In this case, about 30 cars up a 2.2% grade. Quiet, too.

The local is spotting some Canadian covered hoppers at the grain elevator on my HO layout. CN 398000 is an articulated car that I just finished scratch-building.

I look forward to seeing your pictures every week! Love your scenes! Now I have a truck that needs some bugs-n-crud. I'd better get busy.

A friend gifted me a couple geeps so thought I could post them in action. Of course its the only area on my layout resembling some type of scenery, although far from complete.

Now I need to obtain some proper passenger/commuter cars to go with them. I never thought of running a couple on my layout within a schedule. Could be interesting.

PS. I do like the attachment features here.

The Climax Locomotive Works had to put on an extra shift this month - three custom-builds going at the same time on the shop floor:

    Running Bear,
Sure is fun to jump out of the car with a camera and get a shot as the engines roar through the crossing!
