Further to an accident, I have of to begin again the network and chose to make a network shelf. Of a length of 4m, hit will consist of two modules of reversal of 50cm in every extremity and of three modules decorated. Every module will have a different theme. For the first one and although no train probably passed there, I chose the Canyon of Chelly. Here is a photo at the beginning of the works And now.
These are great (as is, indeed, your other work too). Could you tell me some more how you managed to get these great-looking figures? Thanks Sven
A figurine is a character preiser without any modification. Only the work of stake in paint(painting) in summer makes on base(basis) of a cartoon character: Lucky Luke For other figurines, it is essentially a question of modifying clothes and of adding details as holster in manufacturer the whole with Milliput. Sometimes, I cut a head or arms to replace them by the others. An example with the figurine inspired by John Wayne. I left a sailor Preiser. I cut the right hand and sanded the bag which it concerned the shoulder. I then cut the top of the head. I modelled a vest in Milliput on the trunk, then stuck a new arm to obtain the wished attitude and a hat resulting from a figurine 10 mm of the American Civil War (figurine Pendraken) I then added the belt and the hoster in Milliput and, later , stuck any small piece of styrene Evergreen cut so as to give him(her) the rough shape of the butt(stick) of the révolver. Then painting. The photo which has me served as model
Hi Francois, thanks for the step by step, just what I needed. Unfortunately also just as complicated as I feared I'm very impressed with your work, don't even want to think about how small a vulture in N-scale is (and the arch looks great too!). And thank you for pointing out Milliput - it never occurred to me it could be used fo modelling in N-scale, but now I can see that it is exactly what I need. Thanks Sven
14 riders were stuck in the canyon at the bottom of the module. It is about figurines GHQ ( 12 ) and Perrin ( 2 ) in 10 mm The first photo gives an idea of the size of figurines, the following ones were taken after installation on the layout
Today, evening do-it-yourself. Manufacturing of Hogan navajo (at least try of manufacturing of) First of all, to know about what I speak: http: // links.mana-the-movie.com / hogan.htm What I wanted to build is smaller, "male" said Hogan and intended for the ritual practices. An example here: http: // www.shutterstock.com/pic-42871582/stock-photo-hogan-navajo-native-in The construction: Now, the glue has to dry Small precision, the background of the module represents the canyon of Chelly, the decoration of the module insipire of the canyon of Chelly, it thus seemed to me natural to evoke the presence of Navajos in this place. Hogan being a traditional construction seemed to me particularly well adapted to evoke these people and its culture.
A small piece of tissue, the color and implementation One of the photos by which I was inspired is on this site :http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-42871582/stock-photo-hogan-navajo-native-indian-house.html

Very impressive! The vultures make me laugh; they look great! Love the Bigfoot, too. You do exceptional work with common materials.
I transformed some figurines Preiser. But the largest part of the characters result from brands specialized in WarGaming. It is, for figurines 10mm, about brands Pendraken, GHQ and Minifig (collections ACW and Boers War). Wagons and some accessories result from Musket Miniature. For figurines 15mm used for the forced perspective , the characters result from PeterPig and Hovels Ltd (the Indians which I am soon going to paint for example). Some figurines were bought at Freikorps but they are slightly too big and will be little used. For the simplest, European market is to stock up with Great Britain (except for Musket Miniature who has no distributor in Europe) The links towards the various brands are collected on a page of my blog: http://westerntrainnscale.blogspot.be/p/fournisseurs-figurines.html
