Very nice. It was once my dream to have such a train. My new dream is to have a bullet train painted in those colors.

 

Sweet. I really like long pass trains.

 

Well; I don't actually model the Empire Builder but an imaginary GN train from Seattle to Calgary for the Stampede called the "Stampeder" BUT it uses EB equipment...so here we go....

I'm currently using the Intermountain western diner in BSB which is a foob but a nice looking one. It runs in front of the Ranch car.... I also have a foobie Observation - the "Port of Vancouver", which was a real GN observation albeit assigned to the International and never in BSB but it looks nice so what the heck...

 

I like it. What is up front? FP45?

 

GN never had FP45s, F45s. But being Mike mentioned this is a foobie train, it could.

 

I run the consist with either an A B set of F units in EB colours or a F45 and geep with a steam generator in BSB. I will get around to a BSB set of F units eventually

 

Should have read, "GN never had FP45s, however they did have F45s."

 

Heres one leaning into a superelevated 28'' radius curve.....I really need to get to ballasting. C'mon guys lets see some Empire Bldrs.
