This poll question is to test the focus group (do you feel warm fuzzies yet?) on a couple of road names. We are not saying that one of these road names will be the special run, but it is intended to gauge interest. Thanks for appearing on our program.
I'm surprised Tulsa was picked as a charter for your faux name. Tulsa is getting pretty run down now.
If I can use it in my era then the road name matters little as freight cars from all over North America would be going through my systems tracks and yards.
Can you unlock it so I can click MILW about 500 more times? :tb-biggrin: Seriously, I hope everyone goes MILW, the last thing we need is more SF stuff......
I agree that we don't need another Santa Fe. Whether it is a fantasy name or not is unimportant to me.
You can never have too much Santa Fe but I'll go for anything if it's well done and something interesting.
We have many manufacturers selling proto rolling stock. If Trainboard wants to do a car, put the name"Trainboard" on it. I would buy one of these regardless of what the car would be. On the other hand, I buy the "proto" stuff only when I like it.
If it's Milwaukee count me out, sorry have to start limiting the fleet. I'd buy a Trainboard car however or ATSF, SP or CRIP.
none of these 3. i'd buy one if it is canadian pacific, montana rail link, burlington northern or something else. but no atsf,bnsf,up,csx,ttx....
How about Trainboard's own brewery car. I think an old 40' wood refer bill board would add interest to everyone's rolling stock stable. I do think that it should have the Trainboard logo somewhere on the car. Just my 2cents.
Voted Milw, because I'd mix it into the Hiawatha. It is LOTUS lines, after all. Hey.... naaaahhh, you'd never do a pullman that would fit with assorted mtl fantasy pullmans? Would ya? Given my choice though, I'd want something uniquely TB, like the last car. Also, if this is run 3, anyone want to sell an extra run 1, they might have around?
