Models of high speed Trains

    Today while my good friend Gary (GATS) visited he brought along on of his Shinkasen high speed trains to operate on the layout. Unfortunatley the curves on my layout were a little too tight but we still took some great pics.

    Here is one although it wasnt a good one. I'm sure Gats will upload some pics once he gets a chance.

    Who else has models of high speed passenger trains?

    I do,I have about ten japanese bullet trains,but no place to run them yet

    The close coupling of these would make it difficult to run on tight corners, and yours seem fairly broad. What is a minimum radius for these? I supose a layout has to be designed with these specifically in mind. Fabulous looking train though.

    My layout has some very tight curves in one section of the hidden area which didnt allow me to operate the train continuously. I would guess the minimum curve would be 12 inches. However it is very impressive and runs so smoothe as you would expect for a Kato product.
