Very well done. Painting eyes and buttons in N scale is not the norm. Most folks are happy to get the hands and face a different color. A friend of mine did some fine detail work at one time. He also was into painting Napoleonic War Games figures in full regimental dress so was quite skilled at micro miniature figure painting. He painted up two baseball teams complete with striped socks, facial features and numbers on their jerseys. Not a very good photo here but shows the game he created.

Thank you r_i_straw for your compliment.
I know most people don't do it ths detailed but that's why i do it, making things nobody does.

As just happens... I did a bunch of n-scale figures several days ago. Grew tired of the pre-painted cheap ones from China where all have the same poses, yet some of "themed" figure sets are priced ridiculous (but must admit I have bought themed). I will attach a few images and a YouTube video that I put together showing the basics of how I painted them. Nothing really special. In n-scale they are so small it is difficult for me to paint much detail. I eventually discovered that it was best to paint from the most recessed areas first to the most protruding areas last. Ex. paint the flesh of the chest area first, then the shirt or blouse and lastly paint the characters over-coat of jacket (gave least amount of errors).

Robbert and agent9843.......great work. Maybe you should offer your services to others, like me, with less steady painting skills.

I figure I am so-so at painting and customizing figures. I think an important part of using figures is "casting in roles," as a casting director in a movie would do.

Cap-wearing worker figures were painted to represent club caps, and painted with club vests to represent members of two different train club visiting a layout.

For a neighborhood theater in a small Texas town in the mid-1950s...

Female figure in tight dress reminded me a little of Marilyn Monroe. The real Marilyn Monroe did not fit in my scene, but a local woman who aspired to look like Marilyn did. She has been saying hello to her "best friends," the diamonds in the jewelry store window.
Woman in orange dress by cream convertible has come to pick up kids after movie but theater fire code forces her to park one space away from front of theater- and her can't think of anyplace to wait except RIGHT in front, so she has to get out of her car and get them.
Is the man at left in front of the ice cream shop trying to look too casual with his hands in his pockets as he watches the pre-teen girl?

Cast of characters selected for pier nightclub interior...

About half of this job was selecting unpainted figures to fill certain roles- then painting them to fit the imagined roles.
