Hello Friends, last weekend we had the 15th and last US Railroad Convention in Switzerland (the Organisator is now over 70 Years old)
I could show some of my H0 Dioramas and of course also some of my Z stuff. We had over 2000 visitors, some of the Z-Friends from Germany and of course our special Guest Jeff.

Pelle Soeeborg (well know Modelrailroader) and me (he got me a additional UP SD90 Mac)

Some excellent modelling from the look of it, but I only have a small screen right now.

Is that a CN SWEEP in "The End of the Train"? Not a common modelling subject, if it is.

Hello Harry, I bought it from Alexander 3 Years ago during the 14th Convention and I think this was the reason for my change to H0.

    Thanks.

I'm presuming that it's H0, and therefore off-topic, but I am curious: Yours? Brass or kitbash?

They're on my to-do list, in Z and 1/29 scale.

Hello Mark, that's Overland Brass. Would be cool in Z.

It'll be a while before I have the time, but I'll still beat any manufacturer.

It was a great weekend in Zürich. The first one I stepped in on Friday at the hotel was Jeff. He came with his wife Mickie. Great to see you again!

Mickie and I had a great time there ! Finally, my work schedule coincided with the bi- now tri-ennial (maybe last!). Great to see Jeorg, Toepfer, Mattias and Jürg! Harry, I missed you someplace? And yes, Jürg's latest friend Pelle was right next door doing scenery and weathering demos! The guy many of you have read in Model Railroader and books!

Besides Jürg's diorama's, there was a märklin 'Toporama' running for Z. Everything else was larger. Some really great US modelling there. I found this great junk yard which was modeled after my 'home' town in Richmond California ! Mickie talked with the Ntrak people and we bargained a club car out of the deal.

Mickie and I spent the prior week 'training' around Switerland with Thursday's break in the rain to Jüngfraujoch, the "Top of Europe" via three special climbing trains for it's 150th anniversary. http://www.jungfrau.ch/en/tourism/
After work in Liechtenstein after the show weekend, we are now 'training' thru Austria and then to Munich next week to fly home.

Glad I was finally able to make this US Convention !
