Before I start I know that the turntable is not prototypical but it will be in an area that is basically just for me to enjoy. It fits the budget well and easy to assemble.
My question: Can anyone direct me to a site or post where I can get this wired for DCC. I have the Atlas motor as well.
I didn't post this in the DCC area because that forum is not traveled very heavily.
I just need a basic drawing to show what goes where. I use DCC on the layout and plan on using fascia mounts for the turntable and an auto reverser for the turntable track [IMG] .
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Jeff,

I am almost positive the turntable is self auto reversing. No need for the auto reverser. We put one on our Ntrack module. The 2 track wires just go to the 2 screws on the turntable. The biggest complaint is the noise the motor makes. I hope someone can comment on how they made the motor more quiet.

Be careful not to get any paint on the contacts under the track. Very painful to disassemble and clean them. It ran perfect out of the box.

Good to hear that it is somewhat easy but how do you wire the motor control to the fascia mounted control?
I was also glad that it did not need the auto reverser.
I guess that I will probably have the motor connected to its own power source (I already have one).

    Jeff:

The Atlas turntable is easy to wire and doesn't require a reversing unit. The turntable automatically changes the polarity of the rails.

Am I missing something? You said it is easy to wire, but did not say how... do you have a diagram?

Just treat the two wires as regular track feeders , the control does not have to be wired into the DCC system. just run it straight off of your power supply.....Mike

I knew it was extremely simple... youre right disconnecting ther two wires to the track was it.. Control has its own power supply. Thank you. I read how to do this 2 years ago. Thank you for repying.

Go to the HOW TOO section of Train board and click on this, or from here. if you just get the books re click on the part that is NOT underlined to get the scamatic and the theory on how it works. I did this to mine and now all I have to do is dial up 22 on my throttle and i have speed control etc without a phical panel and all the wiring that goes with it
Convert Atlas/other turntable from DC to DCC
