In my mind, the place is huge. In reality, its like no more than 2 feet wide, or so. I'll measure the area later...
The neat and tidy bundles are Nu Line products bundles (now defunct - new owner). The sloppy looking bundles are my lame attempt at home - made versions.
NIce job on that scene. It looks great and who says that it isn't a new structure to your area I'm especially fond of the attention to detail that you've shown; with the DUmpster, safety bumpers.
Funny that you picked up on that. Good observation. The real one gave the impression of being "newer" in 2000 when I saw it. Thanks for noticing. I had kind of forgotten about that.
As suggested elsewhere, here is some insulation foam so our 1:160th cousins can start building their layouts. Pink flavored (not pictured) is also available here:
I'm also thinking it might we worth a try to design sheets of plywood in CAD, then send that file over to those guys that will laser cut it cheap. I just realized that you are HO and I'm N. Principles the same though. Nice work.
They are caput and the new HO owners are not producing the N scale items that were once made. You design those sheets. I will buy them from you!!!! P.S. I'm an n scaler like you.
I like your foam stacks, If you do not mind how did you make them? Also for a few added details rslaserkits.com has some lumber yard detail kit. It has ladders and trusses along with siding and looks like plywood sheets. They also have privacy fence kits along with numerous doors and windows, a great place to check out. Larry
Its just cheap ol' blue paint. No magic. Thanks for the tip on the kits. It'd take quite a few kits to make a stack of plywood however!
