Hi, After looking at the advanced lighting that Top Hobby Trains will do on these units, it got me thinking about what else could be done Refer to http://www.tophobbytrains.com/thtkatonscalep42genesysdcclightingpackagenscalenonsounddcconly.aspx So my thinking if the lighting was all done up, why not super detail the rest of the locomotive too. Are the any P42 details available or will they all have to be custom fabricated? Can you post any photos of how your detailed them? Thanks!
There's just not that much detail that needs to be added to a P42. They're designed to be very streamlined compared to a freight engine. BLMA mirrors and windshield wipers can be added and MU hoses and HEP cables to the pilots would be about it.
Thanks, but a follow up, what about the missing warning labels on the top of the locomotives, is there a decal sheet for those? Thanks!
BLMA posted some images of Henry Beaz's super detailed P42: http://www.blmamodels.com/cgi-bin/w...c=detail.models.htm&t=main.htm&itemid=Henry28
Only the PhaseV locomotives have them. Phase III and PhaseIV do not have the labels on the roof. EDIT: Okay, sorry I should have said the Anniversary models....
