I'm looking to find the closest match available in a jar to N&W/NS tuscan red. I've Googled it and can't really get a definite answer.

    Thanks for any help!

I asked about this some time back since my freelanced line will be using the N&W tuscan red, or a variant there in, and the consensus was that Scalecoat II - N&W red was the closest paint straight out of the bottle. I've also received recommendations about "ModelFlex 1 part Milwaukee Rd Maroon mixed with 2 parts SP Daylight Red", "a gloss black basecoat with a topcoat of Polly Scale acrylic Lehigh Valley Cornell Red" and "Model Flex Milwaukee Maroon and Polly Scale Lehigh Valley Cornell Red work for the brighter shades", and there is the "old stand by" used by some N&W modelers of 2 parts bright caboose red and one part tuscan brown... which is a mix I am going to check out once I reach a point of painting my own roads' passenger cars as well as run-through N&W cars.
