BTW, I believe these are the original TB cars, now in the possession of Jerry DeBene. I spent some time tracking them down after they got lost for a few years way back when.
Now those are all what I call "TrainBoard" cars I would save and use any and all of my meager train budget to get real "TrainBoard" cars...*drools*

I believe there are only two. I declined the offer to keep one as a reward after retrieving them and sent them to Jerry for safekeeping, as I was then having some serious disagreements and misunderstandings with Trainboard staff, and really didn't want them on my hands before my inevitable resignation as an admin. They were nicely done cars--I forget by whom. One end of each had a rapido coupler; the other a Microtrains. I probably spent much more to retrieve them than they are worth today (except to TB collectors, I guess). I was happy to be able to retrieve them, and think I did it with grace to all involved, and then to send them on.

I guess I didn't realize it was a done deal. I would take one as a supporter of the group but my intrest would still lie in a prototype car. I am just sayin! Mike
I'm in at #89. And I don't even have a functioning N-scale layout, I just want to help the project along
To be honest, I don't really care what you guys do, as long as it's decorated for a real or fictional railroad, and the car would be appropriate for my 1949 era future layout.
personally I'd be more interested in something modern. I think a caboose could be a good idea. It could fit most people desires from the 50' to the 90' and probably until now.
Need 10 more interested parties... . C'mon folks, I promise to stop bumping the thread, once the 100 interests spark consideration of step 2!
