Digitrax Zephyr Program Track with DPDT Toggle Switch

    Hi all. Getting back into trains and having a hard te getting the test track to run in normal mode once I throw the toggle switch. He is how I have it wired. Any help is appreciated.

    You have it wired wrong. The two wires from the rails go to the center lugs on the DPDT switch. The Programming A&B wires go on the lugs on one end of the switch and the A&B track buss wires go on the other end. Be sure to pay attention to the A&B polarity between the programming connections and the track buss and the programming track. And also remember the toggle handle when on is always pointed at the opposite end of the switch that is energized.

    I agree, the programming track needs to hook to the center posts.

    You will fry the programming output on your Zephyr connectec the way your drawing shows. Track should be connected to the center terminals. Zephyr programming terminals get connected to the outside terminals where you show the track connected in your drawing.
