I would say anything that sells well in N means less development work ! Me, I like some other shorter tank cars, depressed center-type flat car. Some other caboose (now that we have steam )
How about a 50' steel, 15 panel, fixed end gondola with low cover like MTL already makes in N scale? And as another member there suggested "Making the entire MTL N-scale body-style list into Z-scale" would be great! John
how about re-releasing the old 40' gondola, new cabooses,3 & 5 dome tankers, an early piggy back flat with trailers, etc.
...well I know someone who was working on a crane. He stopped and I don't know his plans. Maybe I'll refer him to your "wants" and see what he does. He is a perfectionist and he didn't like the way some of the parts were coming out. ...don
I don't own any of the Z scale tank car or caboose models because they do not look correct. I feel that Micro-trains should work on updating the tooling or making completely different caboose models. The tank car is not very plausible either... too tall and poorly proportioned.
