I recently traded some HO stuff for a Walthers 130' turntable (Part# 933-2613) the older version. My question is, Is the auto reversing unit DCC compatible? I know I can get the new DCC controller for it, but I don't have the extra cash right now to purchase it. Thanks

Andy, yes, fully DCC compatible (for the track)

The only trick I ran into installing mine was making sure the polarity of the tracks was correct on either side of the "gap", or the two areas at 180 degrees that you can't put storage tracks on where I am assuming the reversing section in the turntable I located. The way I have mine installed, the approach tracks are on side of the gap, and several of the storage tracks were on the other side, but I wired them to the same polarity as the approach tracks. Needless to say, I got that short circuit buzz when I ran a locomotive on them. I'm not sure that is covered in the instructions, but if it is, I didn't see it, so I did a little troubleshooting with a VOM meter and then had to cross over the feeders to the opposite buss. I don't know if the DCC version has this same feature, but other than that little glitch, it works great with DCC.

The trick is illustrated in this diagram. The dead zone is the gray bar. It isn't hard, just think the polarity through.
