After a long disappearance from the scenes of the hobby, I'm replacing all the big and ugly things accumulated on my workbench with fine little Z-scale parts and pieces. I had to put them aside, because after botching many of these models, I realized, without seeing what I'm doing, there is no way I can complete them. I've received many orders -feels like- a century ago, now I'm assembling a good size batch of new chassis to complete these little SW-00 locomotives that I owe to many of you. I'm still learning how to use my brand new eyes, the work is not fast enough, but getting better and better. I can't set deadlines, but I'll do my best to satisfy every old orders. My brain is already spinning to materialize my old and new ideas, but they have to wait until these special edition "Kronenberger Lumber Co." locomotives make it to their new homes.
I am so glad that you have reappeared after recovering from your eye surgery Lajos. It takes a lot of fortitude to continue with what you are doing for others after being through what you have been through. I for one am delighted that you will be able to continue with your masterful design and engineering skills as you are an inspiration to me and no doubt many others. WELCOME BACK SIR.
Lajos, Welcome back... I always learn something from folks posting here and you may not know, but I did gain quite a bit of Z skills from you, including the getting introduced to some cool staking tools that I converted to a punch and die set. I am glad you are back and posting. Looking forward to seeing all your old projects come to life. Kim
Welcome back Lajos. Hey if there is anyway I can help let me know. I may have a long furlough coming. JD
This is what I would have said!!!! Nice to see you back around these parts, Lajos, and hope that all will work out well for you in the future. I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful designs, AND my little Kronenberger loco!
Welcome back Lajos! All the ZoCal members have missed you. Look forward to seeing you at the shows. Lindley
Lajos I echo the previous posts. We have missed you! It was the hi-light of the Medford convention to meet you and see your fantastic Shay! Looking forward to your progress and hopefuly many new and exciting additions to our Z scale options.
Indeed it is great to see you back. All the best and selfishly I can't wait to see you get that 0-4-0 steamer you had in the works a time back.
