Wishing you home operators good luck and visitors good hunting!!!! Over the last 20 or so years, I offered my home layout for an open house in conjunction with several Regional and one National NMRA Convention. With a few humorous and notable exceptions, these days were nothing short of great for me. After my first showing, I learned some techniques to make visitors not only comfortable but welcome, while sharing the hobby and technniques to accomplish some projected goals for my layout.
