All, Looking for some quick help, with the Lionel TMCC system. Since my Atlas O GP60's are TMCC equipped. I can run my 3 units with no trouble. The problems begin when I try to lash up the units. They lash up OK, but I no longer have the ability to turn on the headlights, or if they're on, they turn off as soon as I apply power to the lash up. And the sounds don't work either, in that I can NOT use the horn or bell when lashed up. As soon as lash up is broken down, things return to normal. And the website instructions are of NO help. Does not give me any info regarding my situation. How to solve ASAP, so I can run units in lash up during this coming weekend train show! Thanks.
Have done everything stated. Can build my lash ups and the run fine. I just did not, and still do not get headlight, horn or bell control. Worked before though, so I know I was able to get it working before. I do NOT know what happened in the meantime, to loose all function controls. Just ran a single power unit, with dummy, since function controls in lash up didn't work. Wanted to run multiple powered units, but only if they ran properly. Now that show is long past, I can work on trying to reset the locomotives. And maybe figure out what went wrong. Have 3 now, that need major work. 2 MTH DCS units and an atlas until, with TMCC. MTH are broken/shorted wires, the Atlas TMCC is a failed sound system. Locomotive runs fine, just no sound. Failed after only 3 hours run time, if that!
