Busy industrial scene. Is your railroad theme mostly centered around an urban area?

    Don,
What era (time line) are you modeling? See some really neat old switchers. Keep pix coming, please.

The layout is a double deck layout, steel mill on the top level and a yard, coal tipple, and small country scene on the lower level. I model a steel mill mostly because of the odd equipment that can be found with in them. There are some piece never seen by the public. The mill has a blast furnace, Basic oxygen furnace (BOF),electric arc furnace (EAF), rolling mill, ore yard with ore crane and hullet unloader, and a slag pit. Still have a 32 foot x 2 1/2 around the wall shelf that I can model on. Just don't know what I will model yet. The lower level has a 6 track yard (2 stub 4 run through) a wye track, turntable, 9 stall roundhouse (still in construction), diesel and coal service facility, car shops with transfer table, there is also a small 2 track coal loader. Still have a lot of scenery to do on the layout. The time period I model is between 70s & 80s, but if I find an older or newer model that I like I will get it and run on the layout.
