My first post... Here are some pics of my narrow gauge layout. The layout is being constructed in a 2400mm x 600mm x 600m box. Having failed in previous layout attempts (trying to take on too much), I am finding the smaller / compressed layout much more enjoyable. More pics to follow shortly. Here's the layout plan. I drew my inspiration for this layout from MMR Laurie Green who models in On3. His website (http://lauriegreensweb.com) has some fantastic diaramas and layout ideas. I find that the layout has the perfect balance between switching, and running locos (the lower level track loops around the back of the layout). Maybe a section in the back that would cross over making a double loop would be an idea? Make the run twice as long.
Ophir Sidings is slowly progressing. I'm happy with the progress thus far. Architrees arrived today and make a nice addition to the layout. Bench work for the next section has been started. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
