Well, a pricing range wouldn´t be bad, this could have an influence on my voting. The Zephyr is reallc cool, the D&RGW Prospector would be even better

Um, that Milwaukee Road engine is an F40C, not an F40PH.

So is the photo wrong or the caption. I really would like to see a F40PH.

    Mattias, the page said $299-$599
Good idea with the poll but is one of the loco than really going to be made? The NW2 is announced for 2 years already, so why on the poll again? The RS3 was due in 2012. Other announced locos just disappeared from the page like the U50 and SW1500. C'mon Searails, you guys might have to bite the bullet and just offer something rather than pre-orders or reservations, people want product NOW!
I would like to see the Zephyr and in my opinion it's the best model to be realized with the Powermax units and it has not too many fine details like railings or other small details.

Having reserved an EMD model 40 and a NW2, I have been very happy with the e-mail updates provided as both of these projects have gone through development. Jim at SeaRails is doing a wonderful job communicating with those who make a commitment to his products, especially considering the reservation for the NW2 was no money down, and can be cancelled at any time. Products don't get made unless there is enough interest.

Zephyr is interesting, but only used by one railroad, and how many people besides me models the Q? It would be even more interesting if the cars and engines on the Zephyr could be separated as was done later when they got long in the tooth on the real Q. I think it would be good with the power-max. Still , if sombody would come up with a Gas Electric doodlebug, in full size, I would buy it right now. At the most it would have to pull itself, and perhaps 1 passenger car, or a box car and a caboose. The real ones were not made to pull 30 cars up a 4 percent grade. It would need to have dcc and sound.

Would make more sense to build a FP45. Sold to ATSF & MILW. You could pull a selection of Marklin Budd cars. Would be nice if MTL did any passenger cars in ATSF or MILW.

For the F40C, does anybody make Budd stainless gallery cars?

Thanks Gerd, now even I can read it! Still, 300 to 600$ is very wide. Kelley, the Zephyr ist interesting, and there still is no MU railcar in Z. here is a nice video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHe0YSciQao

    Mattias,
You can expect the Zephyr at the top of the range = $599 and the little ones on $299. And the rest in between.
