Rocks on new small layout

What do you guys and gals think about the look of the rocks

 

You got my vote with the first picture. Very nice. Looking forward to more pics as you progress. Kudos.

 

PS. I noticed that you use the blue masking type tape. I use the same stuff. See, both of us can't possibly be wrong )

Pretty. Carving in Z scale? What do you use? Exacto blades?

 

Is that the tin foil method for rocks? Looks pretty good to me.

 

John-pln I used woodland scenics rock molds the small ones

 

Joes no that is not the foil method I used it on my n scale lay out if you look at my pic you will see them I I just have a few pic here on train board

Great! Did you build this in a wood box? Can you post an overview shot?

 

Jacques Connard here are some pics of the case It is made out of 1/2 inch oak and 1/4 inch Oak plywood I have a wood shop and I made it hopeing it would not be to heavy and I don't think it is the small box is to put the train in for storage I'm going to mount it in the lid
