Hello to all, I'm and old 'N' scale modeler getting back into the hobby. I have already made a lot of mistakes in preparation for a medium sized layout. I have spent nearly 4k on equipment and accessories and have just completed my benchwork. No pix yet, but hope to have some soon. I'm hoping that this forum will provide some basic, and maybe a little advanced, info on the art of 'N' scale modeling. I have made one major decision and that is to go with DCC. I have ordered and received the NCE Power Cab and I have converted several of my locos to DCC. At this point, I am not able to run them on my layout as it is not yet wired, but I have run them on my homemade programming track and I am very excited. All of my past layouts have been DC and this new technology (new to me, anyway) is awesome.
Sounds to me like you're of and running! There are a lot of folks here with a wealth of DCC experience who have proven willing to share, so fire away with whatever comes to mind.
