Also consider doing a search on "DRGW prospector" and 'DRGW Yampa Valley" at Dener Public Library's Western Heritage/Genealogy Digital Collection[/QUOTE]

Many many thanks ,Jerry! Found here 3 good shots of cars that I am looking for.

Thank you! I had this car! I use it with a Kato PA and Intermountain Corrugatet Coach. But I am interessted for other Version of the Yampa Valley Mail. What I see on most pictures is a PA with a Heavyweight RPO and Heavyweight 4-axel Coach.

    FrankR,
I don't recall a dome observation car project--I was building a Wilson McCarthy business car, but alas, school took over and spare time is no more... It's on hold for a while.

Building a coach like this would not be all that hard to do if you could get a hold of a J-n-J Trains coach. While the bathroom windows aren't right you would be closer to doing a coach like this vs. using another model. The cars have 11 paired windows instead of ten but it could be cut down and the small windows above the paired windows could be plated over much like what the Rio Grande did on these cars. The overall effect could be quite great!!! (And, wouldn't you know it... such a coach would be appropriate for an early era Western Pacific layout as well, with these cars being leased first to WP before being returned and the Rio Grande putting them to use before being sold to Algoma Central, several decades later.)
