A photo op just down the hwy

    Only a mere 30 miles away from me! I'm gonna have to get down there and take some pictures. Followed the old CNW line (CN now) from Oconto to Green Bay on Apple Maps.

    It looks like they've torn out the round house.

    Looks like an interesting place. Sorry to see another roundhouse gone, but it looks like a few stalls were saved. Would appreciate seeing your photos when you take them.

    Yeah, gonna wait till the snow is gone and it starts to green up before I get out there. There are some neat RR bridges over the Fox river too. Old iron center pivot types.

    Hopefully I can get a close enough vantage point to shoot from. It is rather close to the road but I don't have any zoom lenses.
