Curiosity thing, and one I'e not seen pictures of: but when a Railroad offical was at homebase, where did the Business Cars get stored? Were they close to the road offices, or would they hav ebeen more near Passenger terminals to be cleaned and serviced? Or did they tend to get stashed anyplace out of the way?
Sometimes tucked away on specially designated track at a nearby yard. Montana Rail Link keeps theirs on a spur off the yard, very near to their offices.
Last I looked, UP business cars Stanford and I think Shasta, both former SP fleet are on the Smog Track in Roseville. Normally they're in Oakland a short ferry Ride from the old HQ Sent from my RM-845_nam_vzw_100 using Tapatalk
Some of the railroads have enclosed car shops they store their can in, to keep them out of the elements.
This relates to the CSX Business Train.... "The train itself is kept in Jax next to CSX's dispatching center. You can see the train on Google maps... on McDuff Ave just north of Warrington St. The circular building to the south is the dispatching center."
