Thanks. At this point, I am simply evaluating. No idea if a new layout will ever happen.

Those feeder track sections are expensive ! They list at like 5 bucks each. I ended up soldering wires to some of their rail joiners , cost , about a half hour for all I needed for the layout .....Mike

Like I explained in a previous reply, I solder wires directly to the rails of the Kato Unitrack so you can use any size of track piece ahead of the switches. They don't all have to be the same length either. I mostly use Unitrack for my T-Trak modules and I also don't depend on the Unijoiners as I ballast the track and don't trust the unijoiners for electrical continuity after ballasting. I replace the unijoiners with Atlas code 80 joiners and solder them in.

To refresh, you stated a solution to the OP’s inquiry which included the phrase: “I wired up a Doctors layout.”
What, then, is the relevance of the layout belonging to a Doctor?
Does your solution only work for layouts owned by Doctors?
If so, does it matter what type of Doctor?
Finally, just wondering if you, too, happen to be a Doctor?

I guess that his level of achievement is high enough that his doctor acquaintance trusts him to wire his layout... Not that it's all that "relevant."

    How old are you? 10-11?
I believe the original poster has gotten the information he desired from this topic and I think the moderators of this site should lock it to prevent it from deteriorating any further.

Concur, that topic should be locked/frozen or totally eradicated.
