I've been a "lurker" on this and other forums for months. Since Atlas now requires that I register to use their site, why shouldn't I register here also? I enjoy the atmosphere and thought it was time I stop by to say hello!

Welcome, PRRFan and Doug. I really enjoy this forum because I think there are (relatively speaking, of course) more folk who are into actual modeling of a railroad, whether it's large or small. I like to trade ideas with these folk, whom I've come to know and respect.
Nice to see you join in. this place is great and never feel like any question is too stupid. It's the fluffy posts that sometimes keep the dialogue going on some of the more obscure threads. I have no idea why we call this the forum because it's really the only Model railroad club I've ever belonged to. Some of the guys here Ive been trading comments with for years now. Lotsa good people.
