I'm Joe. I am a long time model railroader. I live 25 miles outside of civilization and there isn't too many other hobbyists out here. I found this site searching for an answer on a repair I was working on. Looking forward to collaborating in the future. Thanks, Joe
Welcome and Happy New Year!.. I've been absent from here myself over the last two years due to an illness and a ton of home/work/family stuff that really ate up all my spare time, It looks like I've been missing out on a LOT of nice new things going on in here! Wow, the site has changed a lot from the old "layout" of the site (pun intended)! lol I sure do hope some old pals are still around!.. What were or are you repairing?, If you don't mind my asking, if not myself, somebody here may be able to give you the help you need.
Welcome to TrainBoard! A lot of information in our message archives, so your answer might be there. But hop over to the scale Forum for your size and ask.
Gret to have you on board. Hopefully we can help you find answers and info you need, there's more tha a few here with experience being in the middle of nowhere.
Welcome Joe, yea, what part of NV? I live on the southern side of Vegas, and we are always looking for more train guys in the area.
Hi Joe! I'm way up north in NV, 30 miles to pavement. Love it... I'm not sure where 'civilization' is to be truthful. Ask away, show us some of your work.
I was looking for the correct KD coupler for a pair of KATO GP 35's in WP (Japanese). I didn't want to have to file out the coupler pocket. Still looking for suggestions...
There is a conversion chart on the Kadee web site. This link should take you straight to the Kato page: http://www.kadee.com/conv/hocc_kato.htm You can always chat with the folks in our HO Forum area, for their ideas.
