Hi, Looks like it is coming along. I am just starting a new layout myself. Its a good idea to put down a board down like what you did and cut out a water feature. I might have to think about doing this. Robert

This track plan has always been one of my favorites for several reasons. It is simple, offers multiple train operations, allows for industries, scenery dominates like in the real world and many railroads especially eastern railroads can be used with this plan. As stated above this plan was originally for Conrail with Amtrak rights but could easily represent Pensylvania Railroad as on Dave Vollmer's layout, Western Maryland, Norfolk Western, Norfolk Southern, CSX, and Chessie System to name a few.
