I have an N scale Walther's gp60. I would like to put atlas accurate couplers on it. Can someone give me a part number that would work?

All my searches return information about engines that already have them. Nothing on the couplers themselves.

    Thanks in advance.

That loco already has Micro Train couplers at least the model shown does. I assume from the question that you want to put Accumates on it? Or is this an older model that by chance has Rapido couplers? In any case that is an Atlas part 23015.

Thanks for the part number. It does indeed have micro trains couplers. Call me crazy, but I prefer the accumates.

Walthers show that part to be out of stock for them and a check of Atlas parts did not produce it so I might be worth contacting them directly unless one of our retailers or some one else has it. Check your PM for a message.

My experience with the Accumates has not been a positive one with just about everyone I have had suffering an external explosion resulting in parts coming up missing mainly due to the coupler box design. On all my locos that had them are now the MT 1015/16s. However they do fit in the 1015 coupler box which cures the issue and otherwise they seem to work well. The part number I referenced is the coupler assembly that fits in the MT box.
