All you Kato guys got your Christmas steam. I've been waiting patiently for my Bachmann Kanawha. Was told it would be here in January. Nope. It just isn't fair. Oh, the humanity of it all!! There, I said it. OK, I think I'll be OK now. At least through February. Patiently waiting..............
Yes, I am wondering essentially the same thing!?!? E-tailer's note says expected late 2014.... Very late! I model B&O, but thought I could add one in C&O to the roster with projection of relettering for B&O.
The Bachpersonn booth at Springfield had one working model and a shell. They looked pretty good. The Bachmann representative stated that they were on their way from China. I do not plan on buying one, as I do not run anything that big unless it is B&O or P&LE specific. The A-2a was really just a mikado with a larger firebox, anyhow. The commodities that the P&LE moved in its best years did not move fast., as a rule, anyhow.
I've posted about this on the bmann forum. Seems they are always almost here. I choose to believe them. The alternative is to start fretting the "dang it, this business model of building half way around the world......". So I will wait.
Add me to the concerned list! With part of the old Pere Marquette/C&O line running through my backyard, it just ain't right to make me wait longer!
