I'm admittedly new to DCC and I just installed my very first decoder. It's the Digitrax decoder for the MT SW1500. I get lights but no movement. I checked, double checked and triple checked that the motor leads are nicely seated in the plugs. I have the MRC Prodigy 2. Any ideas? Yes, the shell is on and the truck wipers are all in contact. Really hoping my first decoder purchase is not a dud and I did something to the programming.

If the lights work that means your getting power to the DCC decoder. The problem is usually the motor connection or a bad decoder. Do you have other DCC locos that run? Make sure your selecting loco address (3)

And sometimes simply resetting the decoder will fix it...
